As the medium passes through the complex mesh structure of the filter element, it achieves demulsification and coalescence functions. Emulsified water is separated from the medium and coalesced into larger water droplets, enabling efficient dehydration and purification of the medium.

1. Principle of Filtration and Coalescence

Droplets of oil, water, or other media are captured by the ultrafine fibers of the material. The micron-level composite fiber layers form a complex and tortuous channel structure. Solid particles and tiny mist droplets are captured by the ultrafine composite fibers through mechanisms such as inertial collision, diffusion interception, and direct interception. The surface tension of the liquid causes tiny droplets to coalesce into larger droplets, which gradually settle to the bottom of the container under gravity and are collected for treatment.
